I need some assistance please. I have searched every
where I can possibly think of.
I d/l a trial version of a program to limit my son's
activities on the computer. I didn't like the way it did
things so I uninstalled it. This was a program called AYE
Parental Control from
http://www.ayesoftware.com/product.php.
For some reason I have lost in my start Menu the Shut
Down part. All I have is the log off. Once I use that,
the option comes up with to stand bye, shut down or
restart. I am using the classic Start mode. I have gone
into properties/csutomise and under advance Start menu
options I no longer have the check box display log off.
It seems the program has edited the registry. I have
tried to do a regs restore but that failed. Any
suggestions on how to restore this. I am using Win XP Pro.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the long
post.
