I have a laptop with Windows 2000 Pro. I bought this
laptop from my company that is no longer in business and
they didn't give me the disks. I need to load some
software, but can't login as administrator. How do I
reload the OS without the disks or have the ability to
change the admin password (which I don't believe is
possilbe)? I do own the computer and purchased it with
the S/W so technically I own the OS that is on it. Any
solutions?

Can you produce the license? That determines whether whats on the HD is
legal or not. I suspect that you can't, and so to cover that problem you
will need to purchase an operating system.
