Missing Desktop Icons and Taslbar.

I am missing my desktop icons and my taskbar. If i right click on the
background nothing happens. The icons are still in the folder. The only
way I can grt to anything is through the task manager. Help please.

Kevin, try pressing F8 on next startup. From the Menu select Safe Mode.
If XP boots up Ok, then go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System
Tools>System Restore.
