Missing contact

I entered a journal entry and a task in a contact in Outlook . I forwarded
the journal entry and task on to the correct person to deal with this. I
wanted to check out to make sure the journal entry entered properly and can't
find my contact person anywhere - not in the database or the deleted file.
Can you please tell me where it is hiding?
 
Have you used Advanced Find already?
