Missing Calendar Icons

We have had several issues latley where by when users are viewing there
outlook calendar the icons that would normaly be shown next to the calendar
entries such as the reminder icon are not showing. instead they are just
getting a small square. we have tried reinstalling the application and
confirmed that the correct ico files are present on the machine but still can
not resolve this.

can anybody help

version of outlook? version of windows? did you try detect and repair?

it is outlook 2002 sp 2 and windows xp sp2. we have tried detect and repair
but no joy
