missing appointments

I have recently noticed that all my old appointments (starting from december
2007 backwwards) are missing. I know they have been archived and I have tried
imported he archive.pst file but I cant. How can I recover all those missing
appointments?

Open the archive.pst (File, Open, Outlook data file) and then drag and
drop them back.
