missing advanced tab in LAN for firewall

I am trying to set up the firewall provided with
WindowsXP, and I have followed tyhe instructions up to
the point where I am supposed to click on the advanced
tab under the Local Area Connection properties window.
The advanced tab does not exist.Any ideas as to why it is
not showing up?

The Advanced tab won't show up if a connection is part of a network
bridge.
