David

A virus or something took over my address bar. I removed
the virus/program but it took my address bar with it.
Tried all the "View" options but to no avail. I then
tried re-downloading explorer but Microsoft keeps saying
I have the latest version. So...Any ideas? Thank you in
advance for any help.

Hi David,

Toolbar / Menu bar / Address bars missing or misplaced

If this does not help, see:

[Do you have the NoAddressBar key in registry?]

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.
