Missing address bar

I recently upgraded to IE 6 and when I opened it there was
no address bar. When I add it, it doesn't work. I have
no way of typing in an internet address.

Have you tried going to View, Toolbars, and enabling Address Bar?

Also, enable Lock the Toolbars

Deletes the following registry key; Resets Toolbar, Addressbar positions to
defaults. Restores hidden/missing bars:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar
