After fixing some spyware problems using vaious programs, Ad-Aware, Spybot,
Defender, and Norton. I noticed that the taskbar at the bottom of the screen
no longer shows the applications currently running.

Just to clarify, I do have the Start button, the Quick Lauch, and the System
Tray visible, I just can't see the active applications. The only way to
switch from one program to another is Alt-Tab, or right click on the Taskbar,
and Tile the windows.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
John
