"Mismatched component revision"

I just added a couple of new components, but during the build I am getting:

Warning 1119: Mismatched component revision during settings migration for:
"<component> [Version 1.12.2.0, R4]"

Any clues as to what this is telling me? Is this because I updated the
component but did not copy the files to the repository (in DB Mgr) since
they did not change?

Doug,

That basically tell you that there is a mismatch between the revisions in component chain of the current instance in your
Configuration and the new component instance in database.
Although I would expect the warning not during the build, but when you upgrade the component (or configuration).

Btw.. are you sure you are adding "new" component? Seems like you got an old version of that component used in the current
configuration.

The issue could happen because of a few possible things. One of them is that for the last component revision you change it so that
it is now derived from different component(s) than it used to. Not sure if you really need to spend time investigating this but
there is way of doing that.

The easiest fix for you would probably be deleting the current instance(s) of the component from your Config and adding the new
component manually again.
