Miscrosoft Search is giving an error

When using the search function in My Computer or My Documents, this message
always comes and the search cannot be done.

The message is a POPUP window "Data Execution Prevention" and the content of
window is " To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program.
"Windows Explorer"".

This error is occuring in all of our new Dell Laptops with windows XP-SP2.

Even on our Server 2003 we cannot run the search command.

Is there any remedy to resolve it

Hi,

Still we are facing the problem, even after putting explorer.exe in
exception list of DEP. It only works if we disconnect the network cable.

We upgraded few PC with IE7 and found most of the pc now do not have search
error, but still few PC has the DEP error.
