Misconfigured Sender

Marco Fabiani

I am using Outlook Express to receive Hotmail while I'm at
work. Everything is fine except mail that comes from my
wife at home. We share a network, and mail sent from my
home address arrives fine (like if I send myself a
reminder from home the night before), but mail sent from
her contains "misconfigured sender" in the headers.

I have changed the confidential info, such as our ISP and
my IP address

Received: from hercomputersname.ourisp.net (c-12-34-56-
78.client.ourisp.net[12.34.56.78](misconfigured sender))
by ourisp.net with SMTP

Additionally, it takes sometimes several days for mail she
sends me to be received, but mail from my address (on the
same home LAN - same ISP) arrives normally.

What does "misconfigured sender" indicate? And how can I
rememdy the problem? Thanks.

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.
That would have been ideal, but I couldn't find an Outlook
Express newsgroup at http://support.microsoft.com. This
was as close as I could find, so I gave it a shot. If
someone can point me toward the Outlook Express newsgroup,
I'll take my trouble there.

Thanks.
