misconfig

Go to START RUN then type msconfig that will
launch the program, even though you don't know where it
is.
 
msconfig exists in cdrive open hidden folders, its in msconfig c/windows/pc health (type in msconfig in the search bar)
 
You go to run in XP, then type msconfig and then press enter. If you want to disable startup items, go to the startup tab only! You now press disable all and then click apply. Now you click restart. Once XP has booted back up click the box that says "Do not show the system configuration utility the next time Windows starts". then click OK
