mirroring

Hi Friends

I m using a win 2000 server computer and i want to do mirroring on same i
hav spare hardisk of same capacity converted both to dynamic disk but want i
create partition on second harddisk it does not highlight the mirroring
option
i dont want to reinstall os

is there any option i can do mirroring while installing new os

Please help

AFAIK mirroring is not supported on Win2000 Professional only
on Win2000 Server

*DON'T* create a partition to create the mirror in.
You obviously have an existing partition that you want to mirror.
Now what you need is a block of unpartitioned free space at least
as big as that partition. When you have that block of unpartitioned
free space you will get the mirroring option.
