mirror option is disabled

My computer have 2 same SATA 70G drive. I have 2 volume on 1st drive as C: ,
D:.
I want to create mirror volume for D: on 2nd disk drive.
My 2nd Drive is "Basic Drive" and 2nd Drive is "dynamic drive" when I select
"Add Volume" for 2nd drive in next page there is some selectable options,
only "simple" is active but "mirror" and others are disabled.
How can I active mirror option on 2nd drive?

You have to install Windows Server to enable mirroring.
 
true, but he didn't say if he was running server or professional
also, he said 2nd drive is basic and 2nd drive is dynamic; if he meant to
say that 1st drive is basic then establishing a mirror wouldn't be an option
he needs to specify which version of 2000 he is running and if both disks
are dynamic
