minimizing windows mail window

Hi all,

I'm new to windows mail.
been working with outlook till now.
is there a way to minimize the windows mail window to the tray icon?
(like you could in outlook)

Can you elaborate on that? I'm not familiar with it.

Well, its true for OE, WinMail and WLM. When the program closes it
increments the compact check count value and when that reaches threshold
(100 default) then the user is prompted to compact. Just checking the mail
to see if there are new messages will trigger this as well, as the
application does not have to be visible.
