Minimize show w/o closing- switch back-forth PPT show & web site?

How can I open a web site during a presentation and then switch back and
forth between the website and the presentation? I don't want to close (ESC)
the presentation and then start it back up again at that slide after viewing.
I can't find a way to minimize a show.

Another way is to insert a hyperlink to that website on the slide you're
transfering from. Then when you close it your Power Point Show should still
be up there. It worked for me. Otherwise, go with what the other guy said.
Let me know what you think.

Hi Luc,
Alt+Tab or Alt+Esc let me go back to the web page, but if I minimize the web
page the audience sees the PPT in "normal" view with the slides on the left
and current slide open and I have to click on "resume show." (Even though
the link to the web page is in the PPT, it is a long page - on Intenet safety
- and I need to keep the page where we left as I go back to the show and then
return back to the webpage.)
I found I could right click on the PPT screen and select to switch screens.
That works better, but it's still cumbersome. I couldn't get any key-strokes
to work - c and then o or p are underlined like they would be keystrokes. Do
you know how I could get them to work?

Like I said in the other message, set a hyperlink. After that, to switch
back from the web browser, use ALT+Tab, but make sure when you use Alt+Tab,
select the one that says "Microsoft PowerPoint SlideShow- [(title)]", this
will have a document type icon, don't use the one that says "Microsoft
PowerPoint- [(title)]", this will have the Microsoft PowerPoint.exe icon.

Let me know if this helps.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear that I am using a hyperlink in the PPT. My problem
seemed to be on later slides trying to return back to the PPT from the
webpage if I had used ALT+Tab. Mmiraculously this morning I am able to
return back to the show just as I left it, not requiring a "resume show"
choice. You were both correct all along. Thank you, Luc and zoomzoom632!
