Minimize and it disappears, but it's still there - WTF?

Windows XP Pro SP2 w/ Office 2003 Pro

I have a user that can minimize outlook and rather than it minimizing to the
task bar, it just goes away completely leaving only the system tray icon
there. Double click the system tray icon and it comes up like you just
maximized it from the task bar and now it shows in the task bar...minimize
again, same thing, nothing in task bar just resides in system tray. We've
completely exited outlook verifying it was really closed in task manager
processes, restarted it, same thing - restarted the system - same thing. It
only does this with outlook, not other apps. The system otherwise is working
properly.

This is a new one to me...

Anyone?

thanks!

Right-click the Outlook 2003 systray icon and uncheck the option 'Hide When Minimized'.

Duh! Thanks, I didn't even think to check that (obviously).

Right-click the Outlook 2003 systray icon and uncheck the option 'Hide When
Minimized'.
