Milo: removing "My Calendars" from the view pane

There's room for a nice three month view of last month, this month, and next.

Recently, though, after archiving some material, the third month has been
replaces by a new area called "My Calendars", with two checkboxes:
- Calendar
- Calendar in Archive Folders
and the words "Open a shared Calendar" under that.

I don't have a use for this feature and miss seeing the third month.
Can this option be turned off? Thanks.

That's the Calendar Navigation View. You can grab the right border of the
Navigation Pane and drag it to the right to make it larger so that it will
hold more months. You can also switch to the Folder List view and select
your calendar to get a Date Navigator that can be dragged to different sizes
as well.

Thanks for the info Brian. Yes, I see now that I can make it wider to show
four months 2x2 instead of just two in a column. That crunches my actual
daily calendar quite a bit, though, and wastes a lot of real estate on the
almost empty "My calendar" section that I have no use for at all.

Is there no way to say "I don't want the "my calendars" section in the
Calendar area?

Also, I wanted to check out what you said here:
"You can also switch to the Folder List view and select your calendar to get
a Date Navigator that can be dragged to different sizes as well."
but I don't know what you mean by "switch to the Folder List view".
Don't see anything called that under VIEW in Outlook03.

Thanks again!

Not in the Calendar View.

By default you'll have eight view buttons and one Configure button at the
bottom of the Navigation Pane. If you don't, then you can enable the
missing buttons with the Configure button, which looks like ">>" with "v"
underneath. Click this icon and choose "Add or Remove Buttons" and check
the "Folder List" icon.
