millenium to XP upgrade.. now no internet connection? HELP

hello out there.. this one has stumped the pro's.. I
brought it in and they can't fix it, and don't know whats
wrong.. upgraded to XP, took a while to get the modem
going but finally did..the connection now is so slow thats
its no longer useful..prior to the upgrade it work fine..
same modem.. tried a new modem.. same problem? any
thoughts?

What is the make and model of the modem? Did you update the drivers for the
modem - are they up to date, and Windows XP compatible?

And John, posting your email address openly will get you more unwanted email,
