Migration from NT4

Hello,

I'm currently running NT4 w/ Exchange 5.5.
Planning on migrating to W2K Adv Server & Exchange 2000.
Currently in the process of building a new W2K Adv Server
and have a question.

Can I join the new server to my current NT4 domain, run
DCPROMO & migrate to Exchange 2000 so I can keep the same
domain name or is it recommended I create a new domain
name for the W2K server w/ Exchange 2000 & migrate?
