Migrating Outlook Express 6.0 files and settings to Windows Mail

O

I am going to use Windows Easy Transfer to migrate
Outlook Express 6.0 files and settings from my
a Windows XP computer to a Windows Vista computer.

I already have a couple of NEWS accounts on the
Vista computer.

When I migrate the NEWS accounts from the Windows
XP computer, will it OVERWRITE the Windows Mail
news accounts or ADD the news accounts from Windows
XP computer to the existing news accounts on the
Vista computer ?

If you use the import command in Windows Mail, it should not
overwrite them.

You might see if the instructions for transferring email messages
from OE to WM help:

Did you mean "Import" option and "Windows Easy Transfer" utilities
are the same ?

If not, then I assume it will not overwrite if I use Import command from
Windows Mail.

I haven't used them, but I'd be surprised if they are the same.
