Migrating Journals from Outlook 98 Contacts to Outlook 02 Contacts

I just bought a new computer with Outlook 2002. I
imported all my OUtlook 98 contacts and appointments et
al, but all the journals for each individual contact in
Outlook 98 did not transfer to Outlook 02.

How do I import all the journals from 98 to 02?

don't import. open the pst and move the journal entries and contacts to the
new pst - better yet, close ol2002, find and rename the pst. open outlook
and when it whines, point it to the old pst. if the new pst contains
information you need use file, open, outlook data store to open and move the
items into the old pst.
