Migrate WINS to another Server with Different hostname

We are removing all windows NT in our workplace. The WINS is installed on
WINNT(Server name EX1). I want WINS to be transfer to our AD (server AD1)
with DNS installed on the server. .This will be easier if i will only
transfer/Configure the WINS to another server with same hostname and ip
address but the problem is that the hostname and ip address of two server is
different. What will be the best way for me to migrate this WINS to AD
without chaging each employees workstation WINS setup. We are using DHCP at
the same time Static.

Can someone already done this migration.

If you are using dhcp just change the wins server to point to the new WINS
service via the scope of the dhcp subnets. You may run into some issues
with users on seperate sub-nets not being able to browse but that should be
short lived once all users have renewed there ip address with the new scope
definitions.
