Migrate user profile

Hi all,
I am inthe process of planning a migration from a Netware based system to an
ADS system. One of the issues I am dealing with currently is trying to
migrate current local user profiles to their domain user profiles also
located locally.

All the docs that I have found talk about migrating the local profile to a
network share where it becomes a roaming profile. I don't have the space to
do that.

I have tried a lot of things including copying over the user profile to the
domain created profile on the local computer, changing permissions but
nothing has worked. I would really appreciate any
suggestions/recommendations to get this to work.

Hi, Right click My Computer and click Properties, Click Advanced Tab and
then click setting buttom for User Profiles section, Here you can copy the
local profile to a domain user.

Thanks Chris,
I tried to do that but logged in as local administratorof the machine I get
an access denied error when trying to copy the profile.

Also when I check the folder information I see that the Read Only bit is set
and I cannot reset it. What am I doing wrong?
