I'm D. Pun from Washington. Currently we are using Infinite Exchange as our
mail server and would like to migrate to MS-Exchange server. Our main server
plat form is Novell. We have 50 t0 75 users. My questions are:

1. Is it possible to run MS-Exchange server on Novell platform?

2. Do we have to buy another special computer to install Exchange or we can
install in any dell computer (we have dell pentium III & higher systems).

3. Is there any computer/system which has MS-exchange already installed?

4. Can I get the price quote for MS-Exchange server and the required
system/machine from anyone here?

5. I never installed and operated the MS-Exchange server before so can I do
it myself? (Ofcourse! with your help).

Thank you and looking forward to hear from you very soon.

No.
2. Do we have to buy another special computer to install Exchange or we can

You can run Exchange on any Intel-based Workstation or Server so as long as
it meets the minimum requirements for Windows 2000 Server & Exchange 2000
Server. Be forewarned though, Exchange is very resource-intensive in both
disk and virtual memory, so meeting the minimum requirements will allow you
to INSTALL an Exchange organization, not run one.
3. Is there any computer/system which has MS-exchange already installed?

You mean like a pre-packaged deal or hardware-integrated? No. However there
are companies that will host Exchange for you, much like web hosting.
4. Can I get the price quote for MS-Exchange server and the required
system/machine from anyone here?

The final acquistion cost (hardware/software) depends on your environment
and intended design.
5. I never installed and operated the MS-Exchange server before so can I do
it myself? (Ofcourse! with your help).

Of course you can do it, but to do it well you will need very good working
knowledge of Exchange internals and group messaging infrastructure. Exchange
is more than just email, it is a enterprise communication & collaboration
tool. I highly recommend you take a few courses at a MS certified training
center to acquaint yourself w/ Exchange and get some hands on experience in
the lab.

Hope this helps,
H
