migrate access to asp.net

Rodolfo Fontes

Hi group,

Does anyone ever migrate a entire database in access (with forms,
reports, queries, macros) to ASP.NET ?
Should i remake all this things to asp.net? or is there any migraton
tool?
We use a Windows 2003 server, where all user access it by Remote
connection, and then open the database.
I've been thinking if it's better to migrate to a asp.net.
Any comments? articles?

Thanks,

I have not heard of any migration tool. Recreating any non-trivial Access
application as an ASP.NET application will be a major undertaking. I'd
certainly recommend ASP.NET for *new* web-based applications, but if you
want to give remote users access (no pun intended) to existing Access
applications, it might be worth checking out Terminal Server as an
alternative.
