Midi tower case fan question

Hi all

This might be a bit of a stupid question but what way is the airflow ment to
go in a midi case from a case fan? Is it ment to blow cool air in or suck
the warm air out?

Flow through ventilation - in the front - out the back.

Put a quiet fan at the front to blow on to the HDD(s). I did this, with a
piece of proper filter over it (will need the finger-guard), vac. it about
once a month (takes about 30s) and, although there are 2 fans blowing out,
there's very little dust inside.
