I'm looking for a MIDI sequencer that will record/file and transmit MIDI sys
ex dumps. Win98se. Anyone?

Thanks!

I suggest you try Frieve Music Studio Producer/Independence:

I don't know for sure if it supports sysex, but it appears to be a pretty
complete sequencer. It reminds me of the earlier versions of Cakewalk (say
version 4 or 5). As I understand it the program will turn shareware as
soon as it out of beta. The current beta doesn't have any limitations.

Wow, this looks pretty good, and it does support sys-ex. However, 10 MB
seems like overkill for my purposes (a simple MIDI data filer). I just need
to backup some guitar amp and fx patches. I'll be checking it out, though.
(God help me if I get sucked into DIY music production again...there's not
enough time in my day!)

Thanks, B! :-)
