microtek slimscan c3 (EPP)

I'm helping a friend setup his old scanner on xp, but the
scanwizard software keeps choking. I have tried setting
printer port to epp as directe3d by manual, but no
improvement.. Any help would be appreciated..

Hello

You need to go the the maker of that scanner website and find
out if it is supported by Win XP in which case and pretty sure
that scanner is not but give that a try
