microtek scanmaker 3600 problems

when I scan a picture and send it to the folder Images, and when I go to
look at the image, it comes up with this message: Ledit has caused an error
in KERNEL32.DLL Ledit will now close Do you have any idea what that
means? It says that if it continues that I should try restarting my
computer, but that doesn't work.

I just recently downloaded the drivers.

My guess is that it may be IEDIT, which is the Ulead photo editor software
which probably came with the scanner. The problem does not appear to be the
scanner, it seems to have scanned and saved the image without incident.
The problem seems to be with the program trying then to open that image
file. Trying a different image viewing program could verify that (start
program, then use its File - Open menu to access the file). To correct it,
try uninstalling/reinstalling the Ulead photo editor software.
