I got one a couple of months ago. I'm running it under XP Professional. I'm
very happy with it...the software that comes with it has 2 modes, one with
more advanced settings that give you greater control. You can do "one pass"
multiple scans as well.
The scan quality seems good to me also. I had a rather large project in
April that I did...many scans, over 100 photos for use in a Power Point
Presentation. I was very happy with the scanner.
It's not a speed demon, but being able to load 4 photos and scan them in one
pass into 4 separate files into Photo Shop was great.
