Did you install a program or development package or a web
package?
I ran the Baseline Security Analyiser 2.1 on my net and
the thsi was on top of all the security lists.
On Xp with SP2, it said it was version 4.0 and needed a
SP1 but nothing told me what it was for and why it is
needed. All I have extra on my systems is the Net 1.1 and
the BLA.
It ID'ed the MSXML as xp Sp1 status.
On the W2K machines, MSXML was version 3, and teh BLA
said it need SP3, and ID'ed the staus as W2K with SP3
even though W2K had SP4 installed.
More information about this MSXML is truely needed,
especially for those users that haven't a clue and don't
use it directly. It is flagged as a security item on the
BLA.
