microsoft works spreadsheet

I have Vista ultimate operating system and each time I try to print the
microsoft works spreadsheet it come up with an error that microsoft 8 is
shutting down and then the spreadsheet closes. How can I fix this problem?

I haven't used works in years but have it on my vista home premium computer.
Just went there and did a printpreview with NO problem.
