Microsoft Works 8.5

I purchased an HP PC about a year ago with Vista Premium and Works 8.5 on it.
I had some problems at first but got it to work. About 6 months ago it
stopped working giving me messages like "The procedure entry point
?CbFromWz@MWblStrings@@SAHPBG@Z" could not be located in the dynamic link
library WKWbl.dll I tried reinstalling even with the patches. I worked with
HP tech support and they couldn't get it to work. It works on my other 2 HP
PC's fine but they are for the rest of the families use. Is there anything
else I can try to get it to work or am I missing something. I can't get any
part of works to work at all even the "about works" link gives me a couldn't
locate message.

WKWbl.dll needs to be placed on your system in the 'path' of your Works app.
Locate this file on the other systems (be sure it's the one in the Works
folders as opposed to the one you and they probably have in the system32
folder) and place it in the Works folders on your system.
