We accidentally erased the Word program from our computer and need to recover
it for re-install, or, get a link to a download that will re-install Word.
We have recent updates, but there has not been any recognition on the part of
the computer, that the Word program is missing. Any link (s), or advice,
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's very hard to "accidentally" erase the whole Word program. The
usual goof is to delete the _shortcut_ that opens the program. Use the
Search facility in My Computer to look for the file WinWord.exe. If
you find it, right-click it and choose Send To > Desktop (create
shortcut).

If the program file really is missing, you're going to need the
original CD or whatever means you used to install it the first time.
If you can't find the disk, see
