microsoft word trouble shooting

i cant open microsoft word every time i try to open it an alert box pops up
saying : the action is only valid for products that are currently installed.
 
Sounds like someone deleted a file that Word needs to run - possibly the
entire program but not the shortcut.

Did you just get this computer?
