No, you can't -- at least, not permanently. You can download a time-limited
trial version from
http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/default.mspx, but
when the trial period expires you'll have to buy it or lose the ability to
edit your documents.
A free program that's similar to Word (and can open and edit Word documents)
can be downloaded from
http://www.openoffice.org/.
