Microsoft Word 2000

Am getting a new computer this week with Microsoft XP Home. I already have
a copy of Microsoft Word 2000.
Does anyone know if that is compatable with Mircrosoft XP? Or should I
purchase the Microsoft Word 2003.

Thanks for the help.
 
Word 2000 works just fine on XP. There is probably nothing you would gain
by getting the newer version, other than headaches from trying to relearn
that which you already know how to do.
