I am running Windows Me and have recently been getting the
following error message.

The program at the top of the error box is Microsoft
Visual C++ Runtime Library. The error is as follows:
Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE This application has requested the
Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please
contact the application's support team for more
information. The only option is an OK button.

When I click OK everything freezes and I need to restart.
Any suggestions?? Please feel free to contact me via
email.

Runtime!
"Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\explore.exe"
The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
It appears that I have both Java(Sun) and MS VM on the PC. After
disabling/unchecking Java(Sun) the runtime error ceased in IE6.
