Microsoft Visual C++ Library runtime error

i receive an error everytime i start windows. it says:
Runtime Error!!

Program: C:\Program Files\Common Files\updmgr\updmgr.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminated
it in an usual way. Please contact the application's
support team for more information.

On the top it says Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.
What do I do to resolve this issue.
