microsoft visual c++ library error

Hi all,

Pretty often when I open Internet explorer, itunes, or windows media
player 11, I get this microsoft visual c++ library error that gives me the
option to abort , retry, or or ignore, no matter what option I click the
application crashes. Why do I get this error?How can I stop getting this
error?

You need to post the exact error message and the application you get
it in. Not all microsoft visual c++ library errors are the same.

It says Debug Assertion failed.
Than it says the program and line
and expression:list iterator not dereferencable.
