My recollection from the advance warning was that all the updates this week
are Office related--I didn't track what versions, and I have not seen them
first-hand yet.

no real security updates except for office? oh and of course the malicious

I checked twice, so far I only got the one??? Oh well, I'll check again
later, but I'm almost sure mine is 2003. I didn't put it in here, so who
knows. LOL

I hear ya about only one update, that is why I had to ask. We get that thing
every month. Who knows what we will get next month, probably 10 updates. ;-)

Sorry, my mistake, I have Office 2002. I very seldom use it, and a friend
installed it, so I had no idea what version I had. Oh well, life goes on.

The updates are for Office 2000 and 2002 as well. If you didn't get them
via AutoUpdate or MicrosoftUpdate, try OfficeUpdate at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/maincatalog.aspx
(must use Internet Explorer).

All four MSOffice parches are 'critical' according to MS...
Its ok if you don't use office apps, but the updates are as serious as
they come ...
