Hello,
Ok, I finally got my IEEE 1394 card not to crash my
network by renaming the files "net1394.pnf"
and "net1394.inf" with a ".old" extension. However, now
when I hook up my Canon DV Camera XP installs a "Microsoft
TV/Video Connection" in my Network Neighborhood which
kills my network. When I restart I get the message "The
TCP/IP network protocol is not installed" Unhooking the
camera does not help. The 'tv/video' connection goes away
but the damage is already done. Again it seems the only
way to recover is to restore. Is there anyway to prevent
the "TV/Video Connection" from installing? If I do will
it make the camera useless?
Thanks again,
Joe
