Microsoft template for Word

Larry

I downloaded a calendar template. It is a cab file. I
followed the instructions, but when I double click on the
file it asks what to use to open it. I try Word and a text
conversion box comes up. I can't get anything except code.
Why did they change the template download? It used to be
so simple. Just click on edit with Word and save as a .doc
file once it opened.

No idea what you downloaded, but at

http://office.microsoft.com/templat...ID=CT062100861033&CTT=4&Origin=CT061993171033

there are 29 different calendar templates that open up directly in Word.

Doug, the url you list takes me right back to where I
downloaded a couple of different calendar templates
previously. Like I said, for whatever reason, When I click
on them I get the download file box and I click on "Save
to Disk". The file has a .cab extension that won't open
up.I'm on a network so the company setup may have
something to do with the problem.

Thanks,
Larry

You have to install them and not save them to disk.
