Dale, just one minor point...
When I say backup using ghost or acronis....
It backs up the entire hard disk... so as yo know,
when it comes time to replace the failed hard drive, all you need to do is
replace it and then restore the entire drive from the backup.

Instead of
-installing windows
-doing all the updates
-installing all your programs
-printers
-settings
etc. etc. etc...
then resotoring data...

a full backup means your backup and runnig in an hour as opposed to the
nightmare of starting from scratch...
not many will argue... but i'm listening...

You may have responded to the wrong message from me. In another one, I
suggested Cobian 7 for backup.

So, do you have any activation issues when restoring from Ghost to Vista on
a new hard drive?
