Microsoft Speech Configuration

Hello!

I currently have Microsoft Sam as the Voice Selection in
the Speech Properties Window. In the Text to Speech Tab,
the box where I can type the "text to preview the voice:"
I type the following.

1258LB IS BROKEN

When the voice enunciates the text above, it states the
following: 1258 "pound" is broken. It is picking up the
LB as the abbreviation for pound. While I can type a
space between the 8 and the L, and the L and the B, I
wanted to know if I there is some configuration setting
or file I can use to prevent Sam from picking up on the
abbreviation. And if so, where I may find this.
