microsoft spam(?)

Im getting 40-50 security messages a day from microsoft
(or someone alleging to be microsoft) but the attached
file is inaccessible because OE disables it saying it's
suspect. Also I'm getting numerous messages indicating
undelivered messages, even though they are messages I
haven't sent. I've raised this issue in this forum before
but maybe I didn't properly follow the advice I was given
because the stuff keeps coming! And I'm getting tired of
deleting it. I wonder if anyone could be good enough to
give me instructions on how to get rid of this problem.

My sympathies - 10 days ago I had more than 540 e-mails
(about 70% with attached viruses) in 37 hours. First time in
15 years!!

There appears to be a world-wide "Spam War" at the moment -
you either live with it or do something:

1) You should IMMEDIATELY mask (Munge) your e-mail
address:
http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm!!
See my address (below bottom)!
Do it NOW!
Do the same in your e-mail client software!
Spammers use 'bots' to trawl the internet, looking for real
e-mail addresses to Spam! That's likely where they got
your e-mail address.
2) Ask your ISP about changing your e-mail address. That's
what I had to do in the end!
