Microsoft search engine indexing of deleted pages

Hi,

When I use the FrontPage search engine it brings up pages
no longer on the server. When I click on the url it shows
the standard 404 error - page not found.

Is it possible to clear deleted pages on the server from
the search engine index? If so, how do I do it?

Open the online site in FP and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks
